QAPI Self-Assessment

Collaborative participants are required to complete a QAPI self-assessment at least once a year. If your team has not yet completed it, please do so soon!

Recognition for outstanding work

This month, there are three exciting award programs to discuss:

Many NHQCC participants have earned the first award in our Quality Gems program. See the full list of homes who have reached the Garnet level, and use this guide to mark your team's progress to earn "gems" throughout the Collaborative. If you have achieved the Garnet level, your team will receive the award at Learning Session 2.

The American Health Care Association recently announced the 2015 winners of the National Quality Awards. We are proud that several local nursing homes were among those recognized. Three homes in Idaho and 29 in Washington received the Bronze Award. The following four Washington homes advanced to the Silver Award level:

Beginning in August, Qualis Health will recognize Collaborative participants who achieve a composite score of 6.00 or less. Will your nursing home be among the first members of the Under 6.00 Club? Do you know your composite score? Be sure to attend Learning Session 2—where we will discuss the scoring and distribute a copy of your results.
