Learning Session #1 Team Communication

Roundtable Conference Call

We wrapped up Learning Session 1 with a roundtable call on July 27, 2017.

Peer-to-Peer Sharing Events (June 2017)

These in-person events were held in several locations.

In order to register, participants were first required to complete a short quiz focused on Team Communication. At the meetings, attendees shared information about so many fantastic projects!Show detail

Team communication webinar, originally presented 4/20/17

Action steps (6 items!)

  • Review our selection of team communication resources
     
  • Test at least one TeamSTEPPS tool with your team, using at least one PDSA cycle. You may apply the skill to a QAPI PIP you already have in progress, or start a new PIP specifically on safety culture or team communication.
     
  • Complete the learning assessment and register for the Peer-to-Peer Sharing Event in your area. (See listing above.)
     
  • Assemble a storyboard to present at the in-person Peer-to-Peer Sharing Event—share what you learned from your study and application of TeamSTEPPS in your pilot test(s).
     
  • Bring your team of three with you to the Peer-to-Peer Sharing Event. We look forward to seeing you there!
