Diane Schultz, RPH CPPS is a board-certified patient safety and medication safety specialist whose emphasis is on supporting healthcare communities in reducing the risk of adverse drug events (ADEs) in high-risk patients, across transitions of care.
She has published work that shows tremendous cost savings by reducing readmissions through the use of clinical pharmacy services. Innovation of new programs in pharmacy has been a passion that Diane has been involved in throughout her career. She was recognized as a key innovator in community pharmacy for development of many patient care programs and has received awards for her role in improving patient safety, and in the development of a web-based ADE reporting tool.
Diane is the owner of DS Consulting and holds faculty positions at both Washington State University and University of Washington Schools of Pharmacy.
