Aimee Ford, RN, MS has been a part of the healthcare industry for more than 20 years. Her first official role was as a nursing assistant working with people who had sustained neurological injuries. After getting her BSN, Aimee worked as a staff and charge nurse on a hospital medical unit and on an intermediate medical care unit.
She received a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997. From 1998-2008, Aimee worked for Washington State’s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) in several roles, including AFH licensor, quality assurance nurse, and nursing home surveyor and complaint investigator.
Prior to joining Qualis Health, Aimee worked at Aging and Disability Services (ADS). There she helped manage adults and elders with complex medical and psychosocial conditions living in low-income housing avoid unnecessary institutionalization and rehospitalization.
Currently, she is working towards accreditation as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality through the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
