Qualis Health is one of the nation's leading population healthcare consulting organizations, partnering with our clients to improve care for millions of Americans every day. We work with public and private sector clients to advance the quality, efficiency and value of healthcare.
We deliver solutions to ensure that our partners transform the care they provide, with a focus on process improvement, care management, and effective use of health information technology.
Qualis Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer that embraces and practices diversity, reflecting the communities we serve. Our team includes experienced clinical, analytical, communication, and administrative staff.
Led by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program is one of the largest federal programs dedicated to improving health quality at the local level, bringing the CMS and National Quality Strategies to life. The program achieves national quality goals through a network of QIOs that convene local communities for learning and action.
Qualis Health is the Quality Innovation Network QIO (QIN - QIO) for Idaho and Washington. Through our work, we engage providers at all levels of performance in rapid-cycle projects for collaborative learning and action that accelerate healthcare quality improvement. We bring the voices of beneficiaries and families into healthcare quality improvement initiatives so providers can understand and improve the experience of care.
Qualis Health was awarded the 2014-2019 QIO contracts (and add-on projects) for both Idaho and Washington. We have successfully performed this role since the inception of the QIO program and operated as one of Medicare’s peer-review organizations (a precursor to the QIO) since 1984.
Medicare recently awarded Qualis Health a new contract to help small practices in Idaho and Washington prepare for and participate in the Quality Payment Program, established by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA).
We are assisting small practices (15 or fewer clinicians, including those in rural locations, health professional shortage areas, and medically underserved locations). We will deliver support for up to a five-year period. Learn more about our current activities under this contract.
